Biography —. Dr. Jorge Soberón is mainly interested in documenting and understanding large-scale spatial patterns in the biodiversity of terrestrial species. I was born in Mexico, where I was educated as a biologist at the National University of Mexico. I got my Master’s degree there, and then a PhD at Imperial College, in London.My research interests center on the physiological basis of insect-­plant interactions.
